the 4:8 Principle

Need a great book to read? I HIGHLY recommend this book. It's called The 4:8 Principle by Tommy Newberry and we're reading it together as a staff at work. Life-changing stuff!!!

To sum up the book:
The book teaches you how to discipline your mind and think on things from above.
It's based on Philippians 4:8 which says, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."

Some of my favorite quotes:

"Whether you choose to count your blessings or choose to complain, it's helpful to understand that you have a choice."

I really could add 20 more of my favorite quotes from the book...it's full of highlighted and underlined pages. But it's a great book that really changes your outlook and helps you focus on the joy in your life!
